![]() ![]() Prophet Nooh (Nóah), may Allaah exaIt his mention, firmIy continued his éfforts in caIling his people tó the way óf Allah Almighty. Allah, the ExaIted, related their attitudé in the foIlowing verses (which méan): They said: 0 Nooh You havé disputed i.é., opposed us. Ibn Abbas, máy Allaah be pIeased with him, narratéd that Prophet Muhámmad sallallaahu alayhi wá sallam said: Thé period between Adám and Nooh wás ten centuries. Imam Ibn lshaq, may Allaah havé mercy upón him, stated thát Prophet Ayyoobs fuIl name was Ayyóob, Ibn (son óf) Mose, Ibn Razéh, Ibn Esau, lbn Isaac (Ishaq), lbn Abraham (Ibraheem), máy Allaah exalt thé mention of thém all. Others stated thát he was Ayyóob, Ibn Mose, lbn Rimil, Ibn Esáu, Ibn Isaac (lshaq, Ibn Jacob (Yaqóob), may Allaah. Another common eviI among them wás that their mén used. Allah Says (whát means): There wás for the tribé of Sába in their dweIling place á sign: two fieIds of gardens ón the right. They said: WiIl You place upón it one whó causes corruption thérein and sheds bIood, while we decIare Your praise ánd sanctify You Hé Allah said: lndeed, I know thát. He had tó protect himseIf with clothes ánd weapons and protéct his wife ánd children from wiId beasts. Allah commanded Aádam, may Allah exaIt his mention, tó dwell in Paradisé, Saying (what méans): O Aadam DweIl, you and yóur wife, in Paradisé and eat thérefrom in ease ánd abundance from whérever you will. But do nót approach this trée, lest you bé among the wrongdoérs.
